Help w/renting points BWV 03/2006

Can someone let me know how soon I need to rent points for our trip next year? I would need to rent 3 1-bedrooms for 8 of us. I was contemplating a 2-bedroom and 1 1-bedroom. Any suggestions? (also would need to know when deposit due and final payment).

I don't have a confirmed date yet, looking to rent around March 4 for ds' bday but would rather stay Sun-Thursday, leaving Friday.

For dates during Spring Break, you might want to firm up your dates ASAP and post on the Rent/Trade Board. That time does fill up quickly and the 7 month priority opens this month- so owners at all resorts can reserve during March right now.

Decide the dates you want, the resort and the room type and see if a member can assist.

Deposits, payments due, refund policy are all worked out on an individual basis with the person you rent from. It's possible that you will need to pay in full once the reservation is made.

Sorry if I'm wrong about this, I'm new to DVC...but doesn't everyone have points for Boardwalk in March 2006? That is, unless you've already used your points, we're within the 7 month window for the first half of March, anyway. Or do I not understand correctly how the windows work?

You understand correctly. Since the desired vacation dates are less than 7 months away, any DVC member can make the reservation. Doesn't have to be made with Boardwalk Villa points.
