We are expecting baby boy #2! We are so thrilled, but names are giving us a hard time.

Here are the three we have boiled it down too.

Joseph - love the name, and Joe. But HATE Joey. Which might be inevitable with IL's.

Jackson - called Jack.

Ryan - just love it.

Son #1 is Lucas (Luke).

Which do you like best? Last name sounds like Tamble.

i like jackson..but not jack

I have a Ryan at home, so I guess I am partial to that!

I think I like Ryan the best - more because I like the way two syllables sounds with your last name.

My son is named Jack Benjamin, so Jack gets my vote!

They are all nice names. I would go with Joseph. It is strong. My son has a friend named Joseph. Nobody calls him "Joey" (although I think that is a cute name for a little boy.)

Tell your inlaws that you do not like the name Joey before the baby is born.

Congrats! :cheer2:

I have a Jack, but I see more and more of them, so it might be becoming too common. Voted for Joseph. I like that a lot. Just ignore the ILs giving a nickname. I don't care for shortened names in our family.

We have a cousin Ryan, so that's my preference. I think it souds good with Tamble, too!

My parents named my Brother James and my G'ma wanted to call him Jimmy. She kept at it until my Dad told her to knock it off.

I don't suppose I can get Bo (or Beau) added to the options?

Ryan.

My aunt is going to have a baby in January and his name is going to be Ryan. Its a really cute name.

I picked Ryan.

I wouldn't go with Joseph if you hate Joey because it's inevitable someone will call him Joey.

I love Jackson. We might have gone with that, but our last name would be a big mistake with the name "Jack". We had to be very careful about names and possible nicknames.

I vote for Jackson. I have a cat named Jackson (named after the city where we found her in our hotel parking lot). It might be an odd name for a female cat ;) , but I think it would be a great name for a boy!

BTW, she was very good luck at that particular horse show!

I vote for Jackson.

P.S. My maiden name many moons ago was Lucas.

I quite like Jackson, but not so keen on it being shortened to Jack tho.. Jackson is a nice name in itself.
