I also have two kids of similar ages (though reversed, 10 yo girl and 6 yo boy), but our most recent dining experience was last year, so highly relevant age range.
I find it very difficult to balance things with kids of such differing age and interests. A lot of the time, I am concerned about how much the little fellow gets drug around to some things he can't do (last trip he was under an inch too short to ride Everest) but his sister and his parents want to do. I try to make sure I plan something specifically for the boy, at ages 4 and 5 that was Disney Jr. stuff.
Last year our oop table service was at Hollywood & Vine. The boy loves Doc. We had been there the year before and THE GIRL asked to go back because she enjoyed the food so much. She even allowed me to take a few pictures of the two of them with Doc and Jake. The adults enjoyed the food. They have great desserts, so just know that this isn't going to be a healthy day and plan accordingly.
