We are trying to decide what type of trip we want to have for our next cruise. Whether we add a couple of park days onto a short cruise or not or whether we do a 7 day cruise. Any input would be helpful in making a decision. We've only ever been on one cruise this past September on the Wish. It most definitely needs to be a Triton class ship. I will not be able to get my wife to get onto a smaller ship. Keep in mind we will have to fly in and out of Orlando. Flying in and out of Fort Lauderdale is not an option. There are personal reasons for this decision so there will be 3 hour drive south then north for the Destiny cruises.

I wouldn't want to deal with the travel up and down the state, but that's a personal preference.

I’d you’re having to fly in and out of Orlando regardless then I would pick the Treasure.

FWIW the Dream and Fantasy are very similar sized to the Wish class, approx 130,000 gross tons to 144,000, with a similar capacity at 4000 and the Wish class only being 4ft longer than the Dream class. They are not small ships.

I really like the Treasure, and I prefer sailing out of Port Canaveral, I definitely would do the Treasure!

The fantasy and the dream feel larger to me than the wish ships based on their design, I think they may be a bit wider than the Triton ships and you can feel the difference. The seating area in Cabanas is wider than in Marceline's. If you didn't want to do the drive down to Ft. Lauderdale the brightline is a good option but it can be pricey depending on how big of a group you are.

If the Dream or Fantasy are in Port Canaveral I would almost recommend one of those and then some park days. Like others have said. They are only smaller in weight and they feel bigger.

But I think my top choice would be the 7 nights on the Treasure. I always go for more Cruise days. But plan B would be a Dream class ship and park days.
