Help! Transfer ink smearing...

I made 4 wonderful shirts, using Avery transfers for dark colors.

We just wore them last week, but I noticed one was smearing some. We were in a little misty rain at WDW and now I am afraid to see what will happen when they are actually washed.

Is there something I can spray on them before washing...or something I should have done earlier???

I am certainly no expert, but did you wash them before you did the transfer? I think you are supposed to wash them with no fabric softener and then dry them with no dryer sheet. If you did all that, then I don't know.

Call or email the company. I think there is a customer service number on the package. You might also try this thread in the Arts and Crafts Board.
