I have a senior going with us. She has had two kness replacements
Last time we went tried to get her on Norway ride forget it what a joke.
She could not get into the boat hey put a stairs for her to use but no way to hold on.

Are there any boat ride she could early get into it.

Thought of Mexico
Pirates
But no good.
Maybe some one who has had this problem can advise
Thank you:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Living with the Land at Epcot in the Land pavilion is possibly something she could get into. It's a boat but it has a covering with poles she could hold onto to step in maybe?

I agree with PP. Living with the Land would be your best bet. Also, maybe the Jungle Cruise. The problem with most of the boat rides is that you have to step down. If I remember correctly, Living with the Lane just has one single step down, and it's after you're on the boat. She would be able to have grab the seats and bars, and it's a fairly wide seating area for her to maneuver around.

Jungle Cruise might be a little harder, but it's a pretty open seating area, and it also has things to grasp as you're taking a seat. I've never seen their handicap boats, but I bet they have some that might make it even easier for her.

If she were to use a wheelchair for the ride (don't need one for the day- there's one @ the ride itself for ride use only), she could ride in living with the land. As I recall, there is also a wheelchair accessible boat for Mexico (and of course IASM) in the MK).

I know it isn't the type of boat you are looking for but the LIberty Square Riverboat in MK is a very nice ride.

She is using a scooter then a cane. Can't go up and down some steps. She is also heavy. The Norway ride to into boat to deep to step down and nothing to hold on to. The land is great idea. Thank you:rotfl::flower3::guilty:

Both Living with the Land and the one in Mexico are only one step down, however, they sit really low and for someone with bad knees getting up could be very difficult.
