Help! Suprise trip in Dec!!!!

Tell me about going the weekend before Christmas???? Dec 15-19th?? Are we making a mistake ????? Help me!!!!!! We were going in Jan but we CANNOT go if TESTTRAC will be closed!!!! Should we go the weekend before? I have got to get ADR's so I have to NAIL this thing down!!!

We are going December 15-23 and would also like to hear some responses. What I have read and heard so far seems to say that it won't be too bad at all until the next weekend (the 24th). I sure hope they're right, we have never been there with crowds.

No one has any input? Come on please help? I am a complusive planner and when I was not able to get my ADR for Canada I kinda freaked!!! But I was able to get all my others with many many many times to choose from!!! Does anyone have input on weather or anything like that? Something we MUST see since we will be there with the Christmas Lights on?

The expected crowd levels are about a 6 out of 10, which means about a 60 min wait for the headliners.

We are going in December during the same time (17-23) and have been during Spring Break in which the crowds were about the same and we were able to see everything and not feel as if we were hurried.

Test Trac should be open, but you may want to be sure and get a fastpass early.

Here is a good site to look through in order to help plan your days. It will give you the best days to be in each park and also the expected crowd levels.

That sounds like a great time to go! My sister and I took a girls only trip last Christmas, Dec. 16-23. The crowds were really small until the 22nd. I think the longest we waited for anything was 20 minutes. We had a great time and the decorations were gorgeous. We didn't go to MVMCP but I'm sure that's lots of fun. We stayed at the Dolphin and the GF and got a great rate - I think it was considered value season when we checked in.
