Help staying at RPR in may want to hotel hop ????

Hi Everyone
We will be staying a couple of nights at the RPR at the end of may.
This year we would like to go and have a nose at the other hotels.
If we want to catch a boat and head over to the portofino at night are there any places were we can stop of with our family 8 & 9 year old and have a drink etc.
Is it worth going for a stroll over there in the evening?
We have done city walk and will be going there again but we were just interested to see if there is more for us to explore!!!

There is a great ice cream place at the HRH and a place for gelato at PBH. Both also have full service restaurants and of course watering holes for the adult beverages if that is what you are after. There is also a pizza place at PBH which might make a nice stop for your family. Since you are staying at RPR, you are also allowed to pool hop. Your kids might particularly enjoy the pool at the HRH. I know it is near impossible to get my kid out of it!

If you take the boat over from RPR, you will have to change boats at City Walk. The HRH is not a bad walk from Universal Studios, the PBH is a bit more of a hike.
