We are making our first trip home in 13 days and I just thought of a question. I sort of know how trash & towel day works, but .... do they also change the beds on that day? Should I strip the beds in the a.m. before we leave the room to make it easier? We will be in a 1 BR at BWV and my DS will be using the sleeper sofa, will they know to change that too, or should I leave it open that day?

I'm sooo confused. Or maybe it's just the excitement of knowing it's finally almost here! :D :D We've had this trip planned since last Nov. so it's been a long time coming. That's the one bad thing about planning 11 months out...it seems to take forever to get here, but then I guess that's why we plan several trips!!

Thanks in advance for any info.

There's no need to strip the beds. Just let housekeeping do their thing. Enjoy your first trip home.

BTW - Will you be still be at WDW for any of the DIScon mini-meets (11/28 until 12/2)?

Trash/Towel day does NOT provide a change of linens. That is done only during a full clean. The T/T is day 4 (counting day of check-in) for stays of 8 days or less.

If you are staying 8 or more, there will be a full clean on day 4 - which includes clean towels, changes of bed linens, dishwashing, vacuuming- and a T/T 4 days later. You can arrange to have these scheduled differently, just make the arrangement with housekeeping.

Again- the Trash/Towel includes clean towels and emptying the trash- no change of bed linens. So....don't strip the beds for a T/T - unless you want to make them again yourself! ;)

Enjoy!

Towncrier, Yes we will be attending the DIS-Con. We arrive on 11/23rd are staying that first night at Grosvenor and then moving to BWV on the 24th and staying through Dec. 2. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Thanks to both of you for responding. Silly me, I guess I should've checked our reservation before asking my questions. I just did that and it says we get a full cleaning on the 27th and then T&T on 12/1. Doc, is it a good idea to leave the sofa bed open on the 27th for the full cleaning?

, is it a good idea to leave the sofa bed open on the 27th for the full cleaning?

I think I would leave it open. That way the mouseskeeper will know the sofa needs fresh linens.

Have a great trip!!
