OK - last year following my wedding - there was a mishap and I was given a complimentary night the next time we stayed. The ressie was made by the dept (i have the reservation number) I am staying a week and have another ressie for that. I do not want to have to change rooms after I get there and since this was made by someone else and is listed under "Special Reservations" they will not let me make requests and barely allowed me to confirm that the reservation even existed which made me REALLY MAD!:sad2: So that is our first night and this is for our anniversary - anyone have any sugguestions what to do - I know that faxing is kind of out (we are at the BC)but should I try that just to let them know to put these ressies together? I have tried at the Central reservations and they will not make a note on there for me. HELP!

I am not sure of what to suggest, I feel your anquish. I would try to e-mail guest relations and tell them of your problem. They may be able to point you in the right direction. Since you booked directly with Disney, have you tried calling the BC directly? That is about all I can think of, and what I would try. Too bad the CRT aren't more helpful. Let us know what happens, at least you have a place to vent. As far as them changing rooms on you, I have read where several people have had 2 different ressies, and just requested not to be moved. It does work most of the time. Hopefully something will work out for you, hang in there. The CM's at the BC will more than likely try to accomodate your requests at check in.

1) It is possible they will keep you in the same room.
2) However, this does not always happen.
3) My guess is that 2-ressies (linked) have a 50/50 chance.
4) THERE IS NO WAY TO GUARANTEE.
5) It all depends upon room availability.
6) Also, comp'd rooms usually get the least expensive/desirable view.
7) They keep the better & more expensive rooms for paying guests.
8) That is why they would not let you make requests.

So what is your sugguestion Rusty Scrupper? Stay in the room they give me and then if I like it see if i can stay and then if not, re check in?actually my other ressie is cast member ressie and that is where I called though I have called every number I could trying to get these linked.

Now I am having problems booking magical express, they would not let ME book DME, they said the person who booked my ressie had to do it, I tried to use the website and it came back and told me it is for wholesale customers or something like that- I am just going to TRY to call DME them directly

Somewhere I may have the number for the room assignor for the BC- I had that from my wedding last year - should I try calling them? But I just worry about getting a crappy room and being ticked the whole week b/c they already had a screw up with my wedding and that is the reason I have the rooms to begin with-

Have you tried to call or e-mail guest relations? I would hope that if you explain the situation and the trouble you are having, someone could offer some assistence. Especially since you are getting a room one night because of something that had gone wrong on your wedding trip. I really hope everything works out for you, I hope they can come through and make your trip great.

If you have a number for the room assigner CALL...since they comped you this room because they had a mishap. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get the information you need for your stay or Magical Express. Even if the room assigner can't help you they will have the # for the General Manager at the Beach Club.

Thanks guys...I will try that, but the deal with guest services is that after the whole "Mishap" occured and I was given my reimbursement, I waited a while and felt since the treatment I got surrounding the mishap stretched beyond the weddings dept that I should email guest services and I did and I got a message on my machine thanks for writing us, but we talked to Name of person who reimbursed (made ressie etc) and then they said and she gave you and listed what was I was reimbursed with. Which REALLY disappointed me. I specificly listed what I was reimbursed with in the letter, I just wanted to let someone else know what happened so this matter could be taken care of and nothing like this ever happened again to anyone else. It really upset me, almost like they accused me of wanting something, which I am sure that some people do, but I did not. So I am a little gun shy about contacting guest services - All I wanted was to tell someone how I felt about the whole situation and I just really wanted someone to say I am so sorry this happened to you.....

. . . So what is your suggestion . . .

1) Prior to check-in, ask CRO to "LINK" the ressies (an easy request).
2) At check-in, see what the CM can do for you.
3) If they cannot help, as for the manager.
4) This should hopefully get things resolved.
5)They don't like moving you just as much as you don't like moving.
6) Best of luck.
