Help - Question re annual passport

Question -- can I go to the Guest Relations window to purchase the annual passport (and get the temporary passport for entrance) a day in advance?

That way we don't have to wait in the GR line the day we are entering the park.

maybe if you went really late in the day. But the expectation is that the temporary passport will be changed on the day of issue
