Forgive me, I've been looking and I'm sure the answer is RIGHT in front of me. I looked in transportation thread as well. Im on a time crunch . A friend of mine is in FL and decided to go to Disney (Magic Kingdom) TOMORROW - they are asking for last minute tips. I always stay on property. They are staying Offsite in Ococee (25 min away). I am not familiar with that area. They are asking how to get from their hotel to magic kingdom. I am clueless. I read that there isnt actual parking at the Magic Kingdom? Instead, you park at the Ticket & Transportation Center lot? Where is this located? And then you take a monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom? Is this correct? I want to tell them in simple terms for them (and me, lol!). Also, they want to be there for rope drop - how does it typically take from parking to arriving at MK? Thanks so much in advance for your help!

ETA: when I say "tomorrow" I mean, Thursday the 10th

Just tell them to follow the signs to Magic Kingdom. It's true they will park at the TTC, then it's a short boat or monorail ride the park entrance.

Oh my goodness, I made that so much harder than it needed it to be! Haha. Thank you!!

If they have a GPS they could do that. If they check out Google Maps they can get printed off directions. Maps.com is also something they could use.

They could also follow the signs as Stephmarty said. A lot of cell phones use Google Maps though and it is relatively accurate.

Thank you! If MK opens at 8am and they want to arrive about 45 mins before rope drop. What time would you recommend they get to TTC?

Probably a solid 30 minutes prior to when they'd like to be standing in front of Magic Kingdom

If they drive in and follow the signs to Magic Kingdom, they will be taken to the Ticket and Transportation Center. From there they will either walk (or take a tram, depending on where in the parking lot they are) to either the Monorail or the ferry. The monorail or the ferry will take them to the gates and bag check area in front of MK.

I'd plan to be in the parking lot 45-60 minutes prior to rope drop if they want to be there for rope drop. Add more time if they still need to buy tickets.
