Help please with dining plan

Hello all!
I was wondering if someone could answer this for me, please.
Can I book my MYW hotel/tickets package now and at a later time add on the dining plan? I am still trying to work out if the dining plan will be good for us, but I'd like to book the hotel/ticket portion of my trip now.

I have previously read on this board, and asked a TA this question, you can add onto your package up to 3 days in advance of check in. You get meal count equal to numbers of nights booked on property.

Yes. This is exactly what I did and it went fine. I finally added the Dining Plan about 6 days out. How many will be in your party? How many considered adults and how many kids on the plan?
