Help Please! Round Trip Bus Disneyland/KBF

Hello all! I've done a bunch of searches, got lots of info, got lost in all the info.... but think the bus is our best budget option. I'm pretty lost in the routes, and am reallly hoping someone can help.

Can someone break down step by step how to take the bus from Disneyland to Knotts Berry Farm.... and back? I really appreciate any help you can give!!

If there's a better (not too expensive option) I'd love to hear about it too!! Thanks!!

Never used buses so no help there as we always have our own car.

However, some Knotts area hotels have shuttles to/from Disneyland. Raddison Suites Buena Park has a free shuttle but it only runs once per day, arriving at Disneyland about 1 hour after rope drop and leaving Disneyland about 1 hour before closing although this varies with season.
