Help Please October 2006!!

I am trying to plan our next vacation to WDW & am looking at the end of october 2006, can anyone tell me what the crowds are like for halloween???
And what does WDW do for halloween?
Any info would be great

We went this time last year and are going back this year - the crowds are light and Disney has Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to celebrate Halloween - you will see it abbreviated as MNSSHP - here is a link to the details

The crowds and weather are GREAT the end of October.

Disney has a special event for Halloween at Magic Kingdom it's called Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party. It's held select nights in October including Halloween night. Halloween night is crowded and sells out but it's still fun!

These tickets usually go on sale in the Spring (May 1 last year).

They also have Halloween activities on Halloween night at DTD and Boardwalk.

Thanks guys, we were there for thanksgiving last year & the crowds were huge (not that it spoilt my fun - nothing could do that!!!)
It would be nice to try WDW at a quiter time, i looked at MNSSHP & it sounds great, are the main crowds actualy on the 31st as i noticed you can do it on several other days too!

We'll be there with in Oct. '06. Two moms with their dd's, celebrating the girls' 13th b-days in WDW!!! We love Oct into Nov..the weather is terrific and the crowds aren't too bad.

The crowds are the worst at MNSSHP on Halloween night and Fridays. Weekdays are much better.
