I need a little help here.....

I'm going to Disney with my sister and my 2 nieces 1st week of May.

My sister's birthday is April 30th and my BIL wants to surprise my sister with a really nice dinner while we are there for her birthday....

When I'm at Disney, I don't get into fancy eating and he wants us to go somewhere nice......I've been reading lots of reviews and BOY, there are some REALLY bad ones about alot of the nicer restaurants that I thought would be good, so I have no idea where to try and make a reservation.

I was thinking Portobello Yacht Club at DTD, but it tanked in recent reviews, then I was thinking Coral Reef at Epcot....also alot of awful reviews.

My brother actually suggested Victoria and Albert's, but I think that's a bit much and can we even bring my nieces there or is it adults only?

Then I was thinking Cali Grill at Contemporary, but my BIL said no way, my sister has a "height" issue.....I swear I never knew this. :confused3

So now, I'm thinking maybe the Yachtsman at the Yacht Club or maybe Fulton's at DTD, but I really don't know......

My sister loves a good filet mignon and so do I, but she also likes seafood...I hate seafood, but it isn't my birthday, so a seafood place is ok as long as they have a steak on the menu for me....

We are actually going to be there on my birthday and are going to O'Hana's for that ... Can't WAIT, but now I need another nice place, pricey is ok according to my BIL, but nowhere with a dress code fancy please.

Ohana's is great family dining. You won't be disappointed there. Yachtsman
has great steaks and is pricey. Ditto for Fulton's. I don't consider either of
these great for kids. It's $$$ and there's not much on the menu for them. If
it's just adults, go for it. If you want to take the kids, consider Ohana's. Have
a BLAST and happy b-day to Sis! princess:

le Cellier at epcot.

the best steak, (there is some fish) but the steaks!!

the atmosphere is is just lovely...as the name suggests being in the wine celler of a chateau.

so its romantic, yet, I think the children would enjoy it too. (chocolate moose dessert! MMMM)

Take your sister over to Jiko at the AKL. It is our favorite place to dine at WDW. While your over there explore the lodge. If you have never been there it is a really beautiful resort to explore.

my birthday is april 30 and I'll be at the yachtsman steakhouse. :)

good luck deciding.

Captin Jacks is good they have seafood and steak! Not filet mignon though but they do Sirloin! Heres the menu!! p.s. u can get more menus on http://www.allearsnet.com

I would go to Coral Reef! You can call the restaurant ahead of a time and request a diver to hold up a "happy birthday" sign in front of your table! And it's free!

Just as a word of advice. Don't base your decision on someone else's opinion. We've had many a meal that we enjoyed at places that had negative reviews. And then we've gone to some that people gush over (like the California Grill) and while been OK with it, won't go back again.

Relax about this. Your sister doesn't know it's happening. And she's the one to satisfy. Pick out one that SHE will like and to heck with the reviews.

How about Flying Fish at the Boardwalk? They have a great steak there too.;) I think the Boardwalk atmosphere is an added bonus for a special night.

If you are talking about THIS April 30, you may be dining at whatever you can get. V&A is probably already booked up. Some of the others may be, too.

my birthday is april 30 and I'll be at the yachtsman steakhouse. :)

my first suggestion was cali grill but since you shot that down, i definitely say the steakhouse (it seems like money isn't an issue for you) if there's more than just the 2 of them there. if it's just your sis and her man, i would say V&A's
