Help Please!!CRO/&2 contract ressies/ How do I prevent a mix-up?

I have a ressie for 2 studios at bwv aug 16-21 , sounds simple, but I only wish.

one is cash from dvc on 16th and the 17-18 on one contract and the 19-21 on another contract.

studio 2 is cro cash 16-18 and then the 18-21 on the 2 contracts for split nights.


What can I do to reduce confusion upon check in? I tried to put together the best trip for my sis and her DH and DS(5) who are joining us for the first time.


I went thru alot to get the bwv during aug.(waitlist and had to switch) and I fear that member service must think I am some kind of nut for calling them so frequently to iron it all out. The last time I called the CM said "talk to ya again soon" and I got really embarassed (probably paranoid)

I really dont want to be a pain but I will be embarassed if my guests (whom I am trying to show how wonderful dvc is) have to be inconvienanced with room switching.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Makes sure DVC links all applicable ressies including the CRO one by giving them the confirmation numbers. The one through MS for cash and points should be no problem, you should not have to move so put your guests there. The othe is more dicey but still unlikely to make you move as it's not in their best interest to clean the room again. Just be sure to remind them when you check in that you dont want to move. You may have to rescheck in on some of them, especially the one that's cash CRO combined with DVC points.

This isn't as difficult as it seems at first glance. First, forget about contracts...deal with reservation confirmation numbers.

You should have your confirmation numbers, but to be sure: wait until you receive all of the written confirmations in the mail before you do anything.

When you receive and confirm that the reservations were made correctly, call MS to ask that the reservations be linked as follows:

Reservations you describe as "one is cash from dvc on 16th and the 17-18 on one contract and the 19-21 on another contract" should be linked.

Reservations you describe as "studio 2 is cro cash 16-18 and then the 18-21 on the 2 contracts for split nights" should be linked.

MS can also cross reference the two groups of linked reservations so resort personnel can assign units close to each other if desired.
