Help pick a room! First cruise ever (Fantasy Verandah for 5 people)

I waited for about 75 minutes and was able to book 8606 for Oct 10th 2020 Hopefully its a good room. Anyone ever been in that particular room?

We have the connecting room, 8604, booked for May 2020. I’ll report back and let you know if that door creaks!

We have stayed in 8610 (which is a few doors down) and really liked the location/room. This time we are going to be on deck 9 just to try something different.

I’ve honestly never tried. We always go on the deck.

We had 8630 on the Fantasy and my DH didn't want to fight the crowds to see the fireworks, so he stayed in the room. He said he could see most of the fireworks from the balcony, but you have to understand, they go right up just above and to the side. So he said there were parts he couldn't see.

If you were standing on deck watching the fireworks, you'd have your head tilted, I'm guessing to an 80 degree angle from standing to see the majority of the show. So still enough to see from a balcony, but much better sightline on deck.
