I sent an email question to the DLP official website and it's been a week with no reply. Is this normal, or should I resend? How long do they usually take to reply? Or, does anyone know the answer to this...

I asked the following question that I, and several others here on DIS have been posting here (haven't seen any answer to this here either) about buying undated tickets online for use on a date past April 4th. I'm buying them from the US to be mailed here. The price given says it's for "Bookings made until 4, April 2008". When you try to order, they ask you for the date you're coming: "Expected Date of Visit" (yes, even for an undated ticket). When I try to put in a date in May (we're going the 19th or 20th), it says "We're sorry, the tickets you have chosen are not available for the date you selected. Please choose again." So, if I put in 4, April 2008 it will go through just fine, but nothing after that. My simple question is, aren't these tickets good for an entire year? Can I just put in April 4 and still use them in May? I'm buying 6 tickets, so it would be very expensive to get there and not have these valid...I just want them to confirm they'll still work in May. I realize that the price is probably going up April 4th, but I've bought tickets for WDW long in advance and beat rate hikes and was able to buy/use these without a date given. Help!!! Is the question not clear??

I would have thought the tickets would be OK as on the website it says tickets are good for a year after purchase but I quite agree with you that it is an awful lot of money to spend only to find they aren't.

When I have emailed DLRP in the past they often take a few days to reply but I usually receive a standard acknowledgement in the meantime. I think a week is quite a long time so if I were you I would email them again. :)

I'd concur with Elaine and try resending your email.
Remember that DLP deals with different country markets separately so make it clear that you are a USA guest.
Make sure that the question is very clear otherwise you will get an answer back that you are not sure since your use of English may get lost in the translation. The answer back may have the similar problem.

I have never normally had any problems getting a reply and likewise normally receive a standard bounce back email saying they will be back in touch later as confirmation that the email has been received by guest services :)

I sent an e-mail almost identical to this a couple days ago, got the generic automated response but no other reply, I'll keep you posted.

I havn't e-mailed DLRP recently but tried to do so last year and got a standard reply saying due to the volume of e-mails the site gets they may not be able to answer to my reply. And that for a personal response I should call the information line.
