Help needed on E-Night procedure

We are planning on having an AK day on a scheduled MK E-Night. We have dinner reservations for 6:20 at Boma. Do I need to haul myself ALL THE WAY over to the MK to present my E-Ticket and your Multi-Day Ticket “at select locations in the Magic Kingdom after 4pm on the day of E-Ticket night” to get the wristband, then go all the way back for dinner only to return after dinner for the start of our evening?

Is this a colossal scheduling GAFFE - how could I have been so short-sighted

Do I have alternatives? Does my whole family have to trek over to MK, back to AK and then back again or can I suffer alone and get the wristbands for everyone in the family? Are there any other locations to get the wristbands? Yikes!!!

You can get your tickets for enight at Guest Services and trade them in for wrist bands when you arrive at the park for enight, you don't have to have them in advance of the enight beginning.
You do, however, need to use that multiday pass at one of the parks that day.

Everyone needs to be there to get the wristbands.

JUST DID E-RIDE NIGHT LAST FRIDAY. I MADE PS RESSIES AT SCI-FI IN MGM (7:00 PM) LONG BEFORE E-NIGHT WAS ANNOUNCED. WAS ABLE TO CHANGE MY RESSIES TO 5:30. HAD AN OK DINNER (THE KIDS REALLY LIKED IT). WAS FINISHED ABOUT 6:45. HAD TO JUMP ON TOWER OF TERROR BEFORE WE HEADED OVER TO MK. GOT TO MK ABOUT 7:30. USED OUR E-RIDE TIX TO GET INTO THE PARK. WALKED OVER TO CITY HALL AND GOT OUR WRISTBANDS. HINT -- WE HAD A STROLLER WITH US SO WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO GO INTO THE CITY HALL AND GET THE WRISTBANDS. THERE WAS A CM OUTSIDE TAKING CARE OF WRISTBANDS FOR WHEELCHAIR/STROLLER PARTIES.. WITHOUT A STROLLER/WWHEELCHAIR EVERYONE ELSE WAS BEING DIRECTED INSIDE. YOU CAN GET YOUR WRISTBANDS ANYTIME YOU WANT, THEY JUST BECOME AVAIL AFTER 4PM

What if we are running late from Boma and don't get to MK until after, say: 9:30PM (official closing time: 9PM)? Are we still OK?
