My wife and I will be traveling to Disney World in a couple of weeks. I would like to do something special for her while we are down there. I won't be able to spend a lot of money, but I figured that a place like Disney has to have a place somewhere in a resort or one of the parks that would be romantic for my wife and I to hang out at. We will be doing dinner at California Grill (if that helps). Does anyone have any ideas?

My husband and I go every year for our annivesary and we love strolling the World Showcase at night. Exploring the countries, listening to music, grabbing some dessert from the Patisserie...we end up doing this pretty much every night:love: The Boardwalk at night is nice too. Have fun!

You might have already thought about this - you can watch Wishes from the California Grill observation deck. And, if you finish dinner long before Wishes starts, I believe you can show them your receipt and they can let you back up to see Wishes. You could also walk around some of the resorts.

Watch fireworks from the beach at the Poly
Go to the GF, get a drink and listen to the brass band, they are terrific! They also have a nice outdoor patio just off the 2nd floor by the Mizner's Lounge that you can go outside and sit - you can hear the band, see the fireworks and watch the Electrical Water Pagent also!

Ha ha I had the same question. My DH and I are going in a week and we have planned to watch the Wishes fireworks from the beach at the Poly. Also there is River Roost at Port Orleans Riverside and Weds-Sat Piano Bob Jackson plays and entertains. I haven't seen his show yet, but others here on the board have mentioned him. I have heard a little about another entertainer at the Port Orleans French Quarter, it's called Scat Cat's. I think he plays a brass instrument. We are hoping to see his show as well. There is also the boat ride from DD to these resorts and that is pretty and scenic, so we are going to take that instead of the bus. Also planning on doing some resort hopping as I think Coronado Springs and the Polynesian are really pretty, so we will be going for a drink and an evening stroll. Or recline in a hammock beachside. Whatever you chose I don't think you can go wrong at WDW with a little pixie dust and enjoying the detailing Disney puts in to everything :)
