:confused3 I booked the Park-n-Fly package at the Comfort Inn in Essington over 2 months ago for next Monday May 8th! I called the Comfort Inn to double check on our ressie because I saw online that it says you can only park for 10 days! The woman said that since we made our ressie, a diner has opened up in front of the hotel and they get some of the parking spots too, that's why it was changed from 14 days to 10. I told her that the reason I booked them was because of the 14 days parking and that since I was told it was 14 days when I booked it that they should honor it or I will cancel our ressie and book somewhere else. I'm waiting for the manager to get back to me! What a pain in the you know what! So now I'm online looking for other places I can book that aren't nasty sounding! Can anyone recommend a different place to stay?

In 2003, I booked the Sheraton Suites. It had a free shuttle to the airport, but a $10 per day charge for parking. I don't think there was a limit to the number of days. I paid about $120 for the room, but it was a suite, and there were 5 of us.
For our March trip, I decided to give Priceline a whirl. Since I only needed a one night stay, I figured I could suffer anything. Trust me, traveling with my parents as a child, I stayed in a lot of dumps. I bid $55 on a 3* hotel in the airport zone. My bid was accepted. After I paid, I found out I had the same Sheraton Suites that we stayed in 2003. A very nice hotel. The parking was still $10 per day.
Did you do your booking thru:
http://www.parksleepfly.com/airport_hotels/hotel_display.php?hotel_type=airport&airportID=17

There is a Ramada Inn that has a rate of $169 for 14 days parking, including the room. I think this is the same hotel that we stayed in about 7 years ago. It was nice.

I actually booked via telephone because online I could not get the park-n-fly package...it is only available over the phone. It just makes me mad because if I had not doublechecked it I would never had known that they changed it from 14 days to 10 until we got there!!!!!

You are right, it is a good thing to check everything before you leave? Do you have any confirmation about the 14 days of parking?

Did you check parksleepfly.com? There is a parking option of a minimum of 14 daus. In addition to the Ramada, there is a Microtel with complimentary airport shuttle. For 14 days of parking and a room the night prior to your flight it is $149.99. Just the parking alone would be that much if you parked at the airport itself.
I checked biddingfortravel.com and priceline bids of $50 have been accepted for Philadelphia airport hotels including the Marriott, Hilton, and Renaissance. If you decide to go this route, you could call the hotels prior to bidding for travel to make sure they will accept the 14 days of parking.

Good Luck.

I just checked the Sheraton (starwood) website. They have a park-sleep-fly package. For $129 you get a room and that includes up to 14 days of parking.

Thank you for the information... will be going on Aug 18 - 27 and using the same thing.

I usually use Priceline and get the Sheraton Suites for $50 and then pay $10 per day to park. Last year I got the Embassy Suites which had free parking but the room was awful.

lovey,

I am really glad that you posted this question. I had no clue that I could get such a deal at the Sheraton Suites. We are going on the cruise with 5 days in WDW before hand, so we will need 14 days of parking as well. I am on my way to booking my stay now. Before they (Sheraton)change their mind. :cool1:

If you book at the Philly Airport Hilton you can park for free. We stay there all the time and they have their own shuttle every 20 minutes.

UPDATE!!!!!The manager finally called me back and told me that they changed it back to 14 days but that they hadn't made a "note" of it yet at the reservation desk and that's why I was told 10 instead of 14 by the customer service woman at the desk-WHEW!!!!
