Couldn't be more unhappy with my guide! If it weren't for the disboards, I wouldn't know anything. Please, suggest a good guide and how I go about contacting him/her. Thanks....Lori
Our original guide was Randy Krueger, and we thought he was wonderful! Then he got promoted and we got transfered to a different guide. We purchased from her, and then she left DVC, and we were transfered to yet another. Our "new" one is terrible. I hear Randy is back to being a guide again, so I would definitely recommend him! Wish we could get him back!
If you are a member you do not need a guide, they are just salesman. If you are not a member just call down there and tell them you want to buy points and need anyone to contact you. Otherwise, forget the guide situation.
We have Betty Pryckel too. She is very nice but I do have to add something about her. She was great when we were buying but after we bought we have not heard from her at all. We have left messages and such and even gave her number to our family members and friends and 2 of them have bought into the DVC through her. We have not recieved a thank you note or anything like that. We wanted to purchase more pts but we haven't gotten a return phone call so we have been exploring the resale market. I understand they are busy but I thought that she should have at least returned our calls. Oh well, Just had to vent! Sorry!
Another vore for LInda Streetman. Low pressure and goes out of her way to get you what you need. For me it was HH points with a great magical beginnings right before they sold out.
Sorry -- can't help you. The last time I talked to our "guide" was seven years ago and didn't buy at the time because of his attitude during our tour. We ended up buying a resale and I was very dismayed to see his name on the correspondence from DVC.

8005018668 He always calls back, no pressure, just a nice guy.
I had Betty as well. She always returned calls but then I was/is in the process of purchasing. You could tell sometimes though that she would be ready to move on to the next call but she always returned the calls and had called to say "Thank you". The little things do add up. It is true, they are sales people but some sales people are easier to work with than are others.
Thanks so much to all of you! I pretty much spent the day on the phone. My new guide is Julie Hughes. I've spoken with Julie in the past and she always seemed so nice. I'm praying that my add-on goes through. All I can do now is wait. Thanks again, everyone...especially you Lori L. Thanks again....Lori
Brian Sullivan handled our membership and my in-laws. No pressure, very easy in explaining everything, and returns calls all the time. Will do about anything for you. Try him out. PM me if you need any more info.
