I've been going to WDW since childhood, but always repeat the same restaurants. We're new AP holders with TIW, so we're planning 3 trips in 12 months with our three boys.

We're staying at BC again in July (last-minute surprise trip for the boys!), and we're hoping for some new table service suggestions in that area or DHS - but not all-you-can eat (we have pre-teen "Disney adults," so not very cost effective!)

I've read all the menus and the reviews many times, but nothing new jumps out. Here's what we always do (or have started doing recently): Garden Grill, Liberty Tree, Ohana, Chef's de France, Brown Derby, Sci Fi, Mama Melrose, Flame Tree. Any new ideas for us?? What do you love that we are missing??

In your area....
I would try Kouzzina, we really have enjoyed our breakfast and dinner there.
How about Tutto Italia or Rose & Crown? I am pretty sure Rose & Crown updated their menu recently. Le Cellier is also, always, a pretty popular choice.

For a different change of pace, you should check out Beaches & Cream. Would be fun for the kids.

We really also enjoy the Wave at the Contemporary. That is not in the area, but I think it is an overlooked option, and offers different choices. It is much more varied menu (IMO) from most Disney restaurant choices.

Check out BlueZoo and some of the other restaurants in the Swolphin. The following have been added to TiW this year. Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort: Il Mulino New York Trattoria, Kimonos, Shula's Steak House, Todd English's bluezoo

TEPPAN EDO!!! my kids' fave and we went w/friends the last two trips and intro'd them to it, and now they are hooked too! :)

Yak & Yeti... my kids enjoyed it shortly after it first opened...

Wolf Puck Gang,T-Rex, Kona,Coral Reef,Lecelliar,Teppan Edo,Grand Flordian Cafe,Planet Hollywood,Rainforest Cafe, or Narcooses

Teppan Edo was DS's favorite!!!! Good food, entertaining and they can try eating with chopsticks.

Yachtsman Steakhouse, Cape May Character Breakfast, Coral Reef, LeCellier-those are the ones that come to mind near where your staying....

Other great choices Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian Cafe, Kona Cafe and Ohanas (we like the breakfast)...

Have a great trip!

You are in walking distance of two parks so I would eat within the parks and dine in the BC, BWV, YC, Swan, and Dolphin.

Cape May character breakfast
Coral Reef

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions!!!

We usually eat a quick breakfast in our room and head out to the parks for rope drop. (Sorry - should have mentioned that at the beginning!) We usually don't come back to our resort during the day, but I think in the heat of July, this will change and we'll swim in the afternoon. So that's why we're sticking to the BC area/DHS for dinner and then spending extra time at DHS (and maybe EPCOT) at night.

Just a few follow up questions, if anyone has time to answer:

1) We are usually at SAB in the evenings, so we haven't seen the daytime crowds at Beaches and Cream. That sounds like a great new option for an early dinner - any suggestions about how early we need to get there to beat the dinner crowd?

2) We were trying to decide between Tokyo Dining and Teppan Edo - we were leaning toward Tokyo, but sounds like there is much love for Teppan Edo, and it would be good for the kids! Still a good option in the hot summer months?

3) Would bluezoo be the most interesting of the Swan/Dolphin choices for our pre-teen boys? Or one of the others that Cheshire Figment suggested?

We're definitely trying Rose and Crown, Kona and Le Cellier next February!

Thanks, again!!!

I didn't read others suggestions but our favs are:
Boma
Chefs de France
Ohana (breakfast , still want to try dinner sometimes)
CP breakfast
Flame Tree
Whispering Canyon for lunch or dinner
Sci Fi
Fish and Chips in GBrit
Seasons at the Land
Norway (dinner)
Chef Mickeys
Morocco CS
have fun!

I'll take a stab at #3.... I would suggest Shula's for the pre-teen boys. I think introducing them to a *fantastic* steakhouse ( one of the best in Orlando) would be a terrific treat for your young boys :goodvibes

we we there in July last year and although we say Beaches and Cream pretty busy it was busiest later in the evening for the ice cream rush. An early dinner around 5 should be fine.

This is a great dinner anytime of year but we enjoy it in the heat since it is filling but not 'heavy' food. The kids will love the show too :)

I can only comment on the first two! Have a great trip :)

My boys (now 14 and 10) always request Prime Time Cafe at DHS. They also enjoy Crystal Palace (i like the food here for lunch a lot) and Whispering Canyone Cafe.
