all I want to do is eat chips and things. I needed to get away and this is where I came. Thanks for letting me vent

I'm glad you came here!! :D It can be so hard to eat healthy when junk is sitting in front of you. Sometimes it helps me if I can substitute something similar. My favorite restaurant actually offers baked chips - which I happily inhale their salsa with.

TigerBear's right, though- having a substitute handy helps a lot.

If you've got a bowl of tortilla chips with salsa there, try putting a pile of carrot sticks nearby. They're surprisingly good dipped in the salsa, and you can still get your crunch!
 
do you have a Trader Joes nearby? They have unsalted tortilla chips that are good -- 2 pts for 15 of them. you are WW??


I just have to walk away too -- I try things like quakes, WOW chips, etc and i just eat too many to be worth it. soon you will lose your taste for it, I swear. chips don't bother me at all anymore, only rarely do certain ones (maybe fritos or doritos) sound good and a couple handfuls and i'm done. I but single-serve chip bags for my DDs to avoid having a big bag open. now cheezits - they are the death of me ::yes::

I just had to vent that evening. I did have things i was not suppose to have, but worked very hard yesterday at the gym (Monday) and walked this morning. Off to work for now, keeping on track.

Ohmom: I've done WW for about 30 yrs, and I'm just a bit burnt out from that, plus I know the program backward and forwards. I've cut the carbs, cut the potion size, and just watch the junk. Eat alot of diet jello, drink atlot of water and have things I can eat near by. Thanks for all your help.
