I cannot believe we are all set until fall 2013! So much to look forward too! And I cannot believe we are going back to California in 2013 - it's SO beautiful!

I am really looking forward to the new rooms at POR. The rooms look gorgeous, so I cannot wait to see for myself.
Plus the thought of staying at BLT is unbelievable. Being so close to the MK for two nights!

The Eastern Caribbean it IS!!!! We are booked now and I am SO excited, even though it is still nearly 2 years away!

As for 2013 - the Eastern Caribbean it is ...... I cannot wait to go back to California, it is so beautiful and that way we can go to the Wine country as well - Diane Disney, here we come!

The one night at the Royal Guest room is paid off as well and BLT will be our first stay on points ....... this is all so exciting!

Updates and NEWS!!!

Okay, here are a few updates ......

First of all, our DISfriends, Teresa and Mick (Teri1) are booked on the Aug 10, 2013 Eastern Caribbean Cruise as well!
We met when we were placed at the same table in 2010 and found out that Teri and I were both spending time on the DISboards.
We enjoyed our time together so much and talked about cruising together again. Well, to cut this long story short, we both booked yesterday and are now in the process of linking our reservations!

And there is one other thing that is a bit of news .......

Remember when I told ya all that we booked our airfare for February. Turns out I did not check close enough and even though we should have "enough" time during our Frankfurt stopover to get from one plane to the other, I was not perfectly sure this was a good idea.
What IF we were late and would not make the plane ........ no cruise for us!
What IF we would make it, but our luggage would NOT ......... no FUN cruising without appropriate clothes!
So today I checked their website and changed our flights to Frankfurt. We will now have a 5 hour stopover, which in Frankfurt will be boring, but at least both, Tom and I AND the luggage should make it to Orlando.
I had to pay a fee for changing but peace of mind is so worth it!

Oh, and hey - we have three tickers now!

I'm sorry to be terribly behind. I am devastated by losing Gracie so unexpectedly - and have had hard time getting back into the swing of things....oh, and some darn cold managed to track me down and stick around for, so far,10 days. GEESH!!!

ETA: Boy, I'm further behind than I thought!! Read the entire thread and did not even realize until now that this is my first post!! You've been to Paris, booked some very exciting Disney Resort stays: Royal Room River View AND CR Atrium MK view!!!

I am just SO HAPPY for you and Tom!!!!

With all the time you'll be spending at WDW, ya think I could manage to get there for a couple of the same days!?!

I was going to suggest the Eastern cruise too. If you have a chance to see Napa & Monterey, then you should take it! I live in northern California, so of course I am partial, but the timing of the trip sounded better to me in general.

I know all about the peace of mind too. For my 2 NCL cruises I have taken, we fly the day of the cruise and both times had delays. Now I have to fly in a day earlier. I pray out luggage makes it as well ,but I guess if it didn't. at least we could pick up a few things with the extra time.

Karin! I'm so excited for you! I would have encouraged you to do the Eastern and more Cali time, but you're already there!!! We will have moved to Arizona by then and will have season DLR passes, so maybe we will be able to meet up!!!!

I see I missed your trip to DLP so I can't wait to see your pics. I would love to visit all the DL's some day - it's on my bucket list. Although I think I will boycott China because of the way they treat their citizens and baby girls. Anyway, I'm happy you got to go, and for your upcoming trips! Looks like you will be eating at the Wave for sure, now I'll bet!

I feel much better about our February flights now, and I learned about changing my mind from the best ...... my DISfriends!

Tom and I are both relieved that changing our "dummy" cruise was so easy - I was able to do it online, as I would have had to wait until I got home from my course, but that way I just got online, changed the trip and paid the rest of the deposit (this one is more expensive)!
I am sorry about the third ticker - Tom just got me a new laptop with a "huge" screen (compared to the one I used before) and the three tickers fit very comfortably on here! But you are right, once our next trip rolls around you'll be able to see the third ticker! (It's still at 1 year, 9 months and something!)
