What would you do...

Breakfast at 1200 Park Fare at 9:15am
- or -
Lunch at Crystal Palace at 2:25pm

We can only choose one.

Some context - we're staying at SSR, going to the MK that day (MK opens at 9am that day), relying on Disney transportation to get us around.

4 adults & a two-year old

HELP!:confused3

That is tough since the lunch time is probably not best for a 2 year old. Will the child take a nap at the park? Normally I would say Crystal Palace, but with the time of the meal I would go with 1900 Park Fare

I would do breakfast at CP!!!! Go early before the park opens!! The breakfast is sooooo good there!!

You will be fine with using SSR transportation to get you to your breakfast on time. Just get to the bus stop early, and give yourself enough time.

We had no issues with disney transportation when we stayed at SSR in Oct.

I would love too - but I can't get any ADRs for a better time. Next week starts the 45 day window - so maybe there will be some cancellations.

We're planning to head back to SSR for a nap sometime in the afternoon, but DD's schedule is pretty loose, so we can work around her (she'll probably fall asleep on the bus anyway)

I would do the lunch for one reason. 9:15 breakfast would take away virtually all of the 'primetime' ride time. You would be able to do a lot of rides in the first two hours, with little to no wait.

I would go with the breakfast @1900 Park Fare. Do louve CP but not the time.

I'm totally with you! I wouldn't be able to miss those precious morning hours for a breakfast. Go to CP for lunch, then take your break. You'll get SOO much done in the am. And get the little one a couple snacks to hold her over till lunch if necessary! :thumbsup2

If you have an 8:05 resv at Crystal Palace and rope drop is at 9:00 am will that give enough time to get done and to the rope drop in time?

Also, do the buses run early enough to get us to CP by 8:00?

I would pick CP but try to change the time...when my son was 2 we tried to get lunch ADR around 12 but no later than 1 and then after lunch we head back to our resort for naps. Hope this helps.

I would do the lunch time. By that time you will be so tired of the heat that sitting in a nice restaurant would be the greatest thing. You would also probably lose out on park time as the later it gets the heat probably gets much worse.

I would do the lunch. I don't like to miss out on morning park time. I prefer not to wait in long lines with my little kids, and I know they would much better handle a later lunch time than waiting an hour in line for one ride. It is a nice break from the height of the heat also, at 2:25PM.

You could always schedule the lunch and keep checking to see if there is an earlier time available, and don't ever give up. You could even check while you are at the park. You could stop by the Crystal Palace earlier and see if they can fit you in, like say around 1PM.

As a previous poster mentioned, you could have some light snacks on hand to give your little one earlier so that the lunchtime does not end up being too late and there are no meltdowns over being hungry. This is what I would do with my kids, and I have a 2-year-old and a 4-year old.

I would not do a 9:15 breakfast ADR on a day I was going to the park. I'd try to change the time on the CP.

Thanks - the breakfast sure sounds yummy at 1900 Park Fare, and DH is a breakfast guy... but I have the same concerns about getting to the park so late!

Appreciate the advice! I think we'll go with the crowd's recommendation for late lunch at Crystal Palace and :tinker:some fairy dust to get us in early!:tink:
