Can all you disney experts please help me to understand:worship:
Sorry for all the questions

You can make changes to a package reservation anytime up to 45 days before the arrival date. After that you will be charged a $50 fee to downgrade the reservation (change it so it costs less) and $15 to make any changes within 2 weeks of arrival.

You must put down at least a $200 deposit on a package reservation. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before check-in. If you upgrade the reservation after 45 days, you must pay the cost of the upgrade at the time you make it. You can't pay the balance at check-in.

That depends on your eating preferences, the size of your party, the level of resort you book and the availability of other types of discounts.

As you are in the UK, I do not know if there are different procedures for UK bookings. There are special free dining offers for UK residents are quite different, although you may book the US offer if you choose.

thanks the only offer we seem to get was free dining on select dates :sad2:normally from around august to december so was looking at the offers as the USA get for different times of the year to see if i could keep our costs down, also we can not book a split stay throught our TA for eg POLY then GF as free dining becomes invalid so i would have to book Direct with disney USA and book a 2 day base ticket to get the free dining at the Poly then again the same at the GF am i right in thinking that? sorry it this sound confusing:confused3 it's confusing me...:rolleyes1

The 2010 terms included in the vacation package say "For a change made 44 days or less prior to guest arrival that results in a change in the package price, a change fee of $50 per package, plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers, will be charged."

Can anyone confirm that they've added a night or switched to a more expensive room or resort in 2010 and NOT been charged the $50 change fee?

I am currently considering booking a room only under the current special offer to avoid the $50 penalty, but I'd rather just tack on a night to the existing reservation (booked under the public 20/30/40 offer that expired March 27) if I still can AND won't be penalized for it. I don't know if it matters, but I have already received my Package documents and luggage tags from Disney.
