Help me time Soarin and Frozen for our April trip

We are headed to Epcot week before Easter (so high crowd level). 2 adults and 2 kids. On past trips we’ve rope dropped Soarin, then done Frozen without a FP and gotten FPs for Test Track. It’s worked great.

This trip, we are doing a half day at Epcot in the afternoon/ evening so wondering when to ride each. We plan to arrive at 3:30/4pm. We have a 5:00 Test Track FP. Soarin is my daughter’s favorite, so it’s a must-do. Test Track is my son’s fave, and since lines tend to get longer, we chose TT FPs. Would love to do Frozen, but it’s not a must-do.

When would you hit Soarin and Frozen? I think an hour for each is our wait time threshold. Note we are undecided on Epcot Forever....

You were absolutely right to pick up TT FPs. That ride is nuts til close.

Frozen will stay the same amount of busy from when you arrive until just before Epcot Forever, as everyone spends the evening in World Showcase for Dinner and Epcot Forever. However, Soarin gets less busy as the evening goes on for the same reasons, especially after about 7, and often is pretty quiet by 8:30; I imagine by 8 the posted wait will be 45-60 minutes and it'll go down from there pretty quickly. It probably doesn't matter much when you go to Frozen but I'd ride Soarin as late as you possibly can.

There's also a significantly better than 0 chance that after you use your TT FP you will be able to find a Soarin one by refreshing the app constantly. If that happens then I'd ride Soarin with that 2nd Tier 1 FP and then do Frozen as late as possible.

If you're using burner tier 2 FPs, I would schedule them before TT and then after TT look for Soarin

I agree that Soaring will be the easiest to get same day, or shorter line in the evening. Worst case scenario, plan on heading to Frozen right before close. If you are in line at close, they will let you ride and the line moves much faster after FP ends for the day. Ive found end of day posted wait times are somewhat inflated.

Thanks all!! I have 2 other FPs booked before TT so I’ll try for a Soarin FP. If I can’t get it, we’ll ride it late...

Yes definitely if you are willing to stay late, then stay as late as you can and the queue for either Soarin or Frozen should get shorter.
