As far as meals go I agree that it could be more expensive. It depends on how you use them. Use them for a burger and fries and you've just thrown a bunch of money away. If you're just looking for convenience you can charge almost everything to your room. I was told that even the soda vendors have the ability to do room charges. Also the wish meals include an appetizer and a dessert. Two entrees, appetizers and desserts is more than enough for my familly of four. And if it just falls short we'll order a side or a second appetizer. Thus the left over wishes for those facials, which do run $45.
A lot of people say that the plans are somehow supposed to eliminate so much of the planning, but just like with anything you decide to do for vacation you need to plan to maximize your vacation dollars.
