Help me pick

I am trying to book one table service meal per day for my family. I need to pick one for our mk day. Would you go with Tony's, Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree? We have four kids, 12,8,5,1. I was thinking Tony's since we are having a Chef Mickey breakfast, but it looks like it would be just as expensive as a character meal, is the food that much better?

I would leave the MK and take the children, by boat, to Fort Wilderness and eat at the "Trail's End Buffeteria." The Trail's End is very reasonable and the variety of food on the buffet is perfect for the kids. This is also a great break from the hectic MK.

Have you considered Crystal Palace? Since you are having B'fast at CM, the food will be totally different (being dinner) as would the characters (Pooh and friends). We had dinner there once and were impressed with the quality of food (for a buffet; we have very low expectations for buffets, but at WDW, we are usually very impressed).

I also like Dana49's idea about leaving the park for dinner. I've never tried Trail's End (but LOVE the food at HDDR, which I hear is the same). We LOVE 'Ohana at the Poly. Not as cheap as Trail's End, but with the quality of food and games for the kids, we found it worth every penny.

Do you need to make PS for this restaurant, if we went to breakfast? Also, can you get on the monorail to get to Epcot from here?

I doubt you'll need PS at Trails End - IT's a pretty well hidden jewel (as is all of FW IMHO)
No Monorail from FW - you'll have to grab a launch over to MK & grab the monorail there to get to Epcot - Or take a bus from FW...

No PS is needed at the Trail's End. To get to the Trail's End, take the boat from the Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness. The Trail's End is a short walk from the boat ramp. When you're through with lunch, take the boat back to the Magic Kingdom and board the monorail to the Contemporary. Get off at the Contemporary and board the next monorail to Epcot. Very easy. Enjoy!

we love love love the liberty tree tavern! I vote for that. If youre going to hop on the boat see the hoop dee doo revue!!!!Its a totaly splurge, but its worth every red cent!
