OK, we can really go anytime. I am looking at Feb 5-12, or Feb 12-19 (am not sure if it will be getting busy for presidents week for that one). or after presidents week on Feb 25-Mar 4(I know that some places are out of school for that one). My thing is that although we are pretty wide open time-wise, but I want some time to plan, so ideally one of the later dates would be better planning-wise. I want to go when there are low crowds, I am taking my 5 kids, and my step-daughter with her 2 kids. They think that Disney World is just the Magic Kingdom, so I really want to show them a good time. Which dates do you think would be better crowd-wise. TIA !!

Not sure, but I would think the earlier you go, the smaller the crowds.

ETA: Checked days on touringplans.com ( http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm ) and it looks like the numbers are definitely lower the earlier you go.

MommyHolly,

If you can't decide, you might want to let money decide for you.

The value season is from 1/1-2/15 as opposed to peak season is 2/16-4/22

That's a big difference in price per night.

We went 2/9 - 2/13/2004. It was the week heading into presidents day weekend. The crowds were great - very low. We did notice a lot of NASCAR fans, as it was speed weeks at Daytona. On Friday however the crowds really picked up at MK. This is a great time to go - and it was during value season. Hope this helps.

Based on TouringPlans, it sure looks like you would want to avoid Friday-Sunday before President's day.
