Help me pick a resort for our honeymoon

Ok, me and my fiancé are getting married in January at the Poly!
Im trying to decide between the regular room at the Poly(convienence) or a 1 bedroom villa at the Wilderness. Price difference is about $500.
I don't want him to see me before the wedding so the Poly would be really convenient, but the villa has a hot tub in the room & 1 king bed instead of 2 queens.
Please tell me what you guys would do!!

To me, a convenient location usually trumps amenities when it comes to Disney because you spend so much time in the parks and getting around the resort. Plus it will be more complicated for you to get to and from the room on your wedding day if you'll be at the VWL.

However, if you're planning to spend more time in your room cuz it's your honeymoon or planning to rent a car, the difference between the two might negligible.

Have you considered a honeymoon suite at the Poly? I think it has a hot tub in it!

I agree! Unless you're planning to spend more time in the room , go for convenience and overall effect! Both are such lovely resorts - go with your gut feeling!

I'd do WL, since it's your honeymoon you'll probably be more apt to want to relax and enjoy your room more than a regular trip. You can't beat the whirlpool and a king bed would be nice too. Plus WL is still super convienient to get to places.

You could do your first night at poly so he doesn't see you adn then move to WL, disney will transfer your luggage for you.

FI and I are all about convenience at WDW. We love staying at the Beach Club because of its close proximity to Epcot, HS and that we can take the monorail to MK. With that said, I would chose the Poly from your choices. It's gorgeous and definitely more convenient to MK and your ceremony. You don't want to have to worry about catching monorails or boats over to your ceremony.
