I'm not a steak eater, but we had it at the Grande Floridian Cafe and it was really good. Even my Dd loved it.

We will be there the same time as you, we are doing the Yachtsman for our anniversary, our last dinner at Le Cellier was terrible. Will have to wait till we get back to read your reviews which I always love!

I see I just broke the tie between Shula's and Yachtsman. They're both good, but if you are a serious steak eater, Shula's is a step above - you're going to love it.

I have tried both the New York Strip Steak and Ribeye Steak at Planet Hollywood and loved it. Great atmosphere too. :woohoo:

I picked other. I LOVE the steak at Flying Fish. I've had it a few times and it is always good.

I'll let you know on the 22nd if you can take pictures in there as I fully intend to give my new 50mm f/1.4 lens a work out there since it's so dim.

Of your list I've had steak at all but Jiko and my first pick would be Shulas followed by the Yachtsman.

My vote would be Shula's.We went there in Aug for my dh's 40th Birthday celebration because he is a huge Miami Dolphin's fan.I took a bunch of pictures of him holding the football and they brought out a piece of chocolate cake with a candle for him and I took photo's of that. The food was great-we went with my parents and left the kids with a babysitter. My dad always wanted to go and my mother never did(she is very picky about her meat)and had no interest in the theme of the restaurant but since dh and I were going they decided to come with us.DH and I got the New York strip with the hash brown potatoes and the sauteed mushrooms. My father got the Cowboy steak I believe and the lobster mac and cheese and my mother got the filet with the sauce that they serve with the filet medallions(I think it was steak Diane)They said they could sub any sauce with any meat.Dh and I also shared a cesear salad. The salad was very good-the croutons were homemade and sort of soft and crispy atthe same time, dressing was flavorful with a hint of garlic but not too much and it coated the salad nicely but didn't drown it.The steaks were cooked perfectly(Med well for me and Med for Dh)and seasoned with a nice salty crust. We loved the hash browns and my father loved the mac and cheese and ate almost the whole dish by himself(it was a large portion)My dad and dh loved the mushrooms too-they were a little to garlicky for me(I like garlic but hate when I taste it for the next day!)We all really enjoyed it and will definately return next year.We also ate at Flying fish and I had the steak there-I would put it probably 2nd after Shula's followed by Le Cellier(I actuall realy like the mashed pot there and think the steak is just good!)Hope you have a great meal!

No picture taking :lmao: How do they stop you from snapping a quick photo with your cell??

Shula's is really a terrific place. I've always enjoyed my food, but the experience find from time to time has been...lets say..different. Once it was Super Bowl Sunday, and I forgot, while on a mother daughter trip, but we hardly noticed aside from when the game ended. Another time there was a convention, so the lobby area was filled with drunken "business men".

But that aside, I've always enjoyed the food!
