*Edit: I made a typo on the added option for Desert Inn and Suites. As much as a Dessert version sounds awesome, I can't figure out how to edit it...*

Hi everyone. DH and I are NorCal residents and are coming down for an unexpected quick trip in June (15-17). Based on availability our choices are limited for proximity to DLR (see the poll options above). Since our trip will be so short, I want to stay as close as possible. We don't have kids and don't care about breakfast too much. We usually eat a protein bar with some coffee and grab an early lunch. I welcome all thoughts/ opinions. Thanks!

In a few weeks Im staying at Desert Inn and Suites, thats not on your list :) Its on Harbour Bld right across from the pedestrian entrance.

If you don't have any specific requirements other than proximity, I'd just figure out total cost including parking and take the cheapest available. Then start saving for your next trip.

I made the edit for you, although I agree that someone needs to make a Dessert Inn near DLR! (Can you imagine the fun during the holidays?!) As for the hotels on your list, do loyalty points factor into this at all? Because if you think that you will be using points for rooms in the future, FFI is part of the Marriott chain. And there are already multiple Marriott properties around DLR and will be more in the future (a 4 star hotel will be built soon). It might not be a bad idea to start saving points for future trips. Otherwise, I've heard good things from friends about the Grand Legacy.

What do you want in a hotel/motel? If it's just a place to sleep- just go with the cheapest option, they are all fine. i think we need some requirements in order to help you. I've stayed at several of those and they all worked for what I needed at the time. My desires range from cheapest option to specific layout of the room due to my party. Let us know more and you'll get better answers.
