Whats a good beach that is close to Orlando to take a day trip too? TIA!!!

How about Clearwater, it's on the Gulf side. We went one day while in Orlando for a day trip. Actually Clearwater was on the Travel Channel yesterday as #5 of Florida's top 10 beaches.

I have to agree w/Clearwater.... It's very nice and not too far from disney.

Clearwater is really nice. I used to go there a lot growing up when my grandma still had her house in Tampa.
