Help me find discounts please!

I have applied for a LOEWS card. As an avid WDW fan, and frequent traveller, I wold like to get discounts at Universal as well. I think the HRH looks neat. I would like to know where I can find out the best spot to stay, things to see, etc. I am compiling this for hopefully August, but maybe it will be next year. We are doing WDW in May for Star Wars Weekdns and a 1st anniversary trip indecember at WDW...I would love to plan it for my DH's birthday (and my own) which are both the 2nd week of August.

Any help you can provide, ideas, anything, THANK YOU in advance!

Well, you've come to the right place. Go through this board and you'll find the skinny on Entertainment Club discounts (as low as $125 a night for HRH these days) and other ways to save money on park tickets like Fan Club!

That Loews First card will give you a cool welcome gift and possibly an upgrade at check-in but it won't give you any park discounts (like a AAA card or Annual Pass will). So, stroll around and you'll find some great people offering some great advice.

Call the hotels and see if the Entertainment rate, Fan club rate or AAA rate are available for your dates. The entertainment rate is usually the cheapest. If it's available, go to www.entertainment.com and buy the book for your local area. That way you can use the restaurant discounts at home. You just take the card that comes inside the book and show it when you check in. You don't need the entertainment book when you book the hotel. You get the Fan club card at work if your work place has signed up for it. If not, there's a VERY kind person - Tinkerbarb- on this board who has sent them to many people. Good luck with your search!
