Help me find Buzz!!!!!!

Okay folks:

We were in WDW last week and my 2yr old fell in love with the 12 inch talking Buzz Lightyear doll. I planned on buying him one for Christmas when we got home. Guess what....The Disney store is sold out (they had tons of them 2 wks ago) and so is Disney Direct and Target online.

I called Disney merchadising and Buzz is 22.00 plus 20.00 for expidited shipping. Yikes!!!!!

Ebay doesn't look too promising either. Any other ideas???

Wal-Mart has one for $20 on thier website. I'm not sure if it's the one you're looking for though! Good luck!!!

The one on WM site is similar, but launches a rocket, does't have phrases, and looks a bit different. I may end up with it if I can't find the one I want though.

I'm not sure if the disney store does it. Ask them if they will ship another buzz from another store?

I'm kind of guessing you already pursued that option. I thought i saw lots of
buzz's at a local disney store 2 weekends ago too. All toys were buy one get one of lesser value free.

Thanks. Maybe I'll try that. There are only 3 Disney stores in MN, and I've been trying to call the one @ the Mall of America all day with no luck (always busy, guess they have their phone off the hook). Guess I'll call the one in Ridgedale and see if they can get one sent for me.

We purchased a 12 or 18 inch hard plastic Buzz that talks, shoots lazer beam, and shoots a gun and rockets at Toys R Us at the end of November. Kmart has a bunch of Toy Story Playsets: Buzz is about 8 inches tall and spins the red monkeys, Woody shoots snakes, etc. Kmart also has 10 or 12 inch soft fabric Buzz & Woddy dolls, but they don't talk or do anything.

Disney Store in Pittsburgh has it. Doll is $19.50, and 6.95 will be shipping. You wouldn't have it in time for Christmas, unless you pay the overnight charge. (add'l 15.95)

I got DD hers from Kmart before we left. I paid $19.99 and it had some little jet pack that shoots red missles that she has been terrorizing the dog with. Good luck!

The DS in Omaha has the talking Buzz too. Same as Pittsburgh with the shipping $25.95. The number is 402-333-7893. I don't know if Nebraska or Pennsylvania is the best bet for the quick shipping, but at least you have options if the MoA store is out of them. Good luck!!!

Thanks for the laugh!!!! I needed one after the Buzz fiasco!

I went to my local Disney store today and they are getting one for me from the Mall of America store. I just don't have the time or energy to fight the crowds there myself.
