Hi! I am currently planning two vacations this year, so here is the dilemma. Let's just leave out dining for now:
Okay June trip: AKL Pool view, regular season, 3 nights - staying at the Swan after that on points:
AAA discount = $812 for room w/tax + 836.00 for 8 day hoppers
AP discount if available = $568 w/tax + cost of AP's $1831.00
Dec. trip: Poly GV, 7 nights:
AAA discount = $2213 w/tax + 836 for 8 day hoppers
AP discount if available = $1675 w/tax - no tickets necessary
I am only seeing a 700 difference, will I save that much on the dining plan? We spend out $150-$200 per day on food I'd say. I just can't figure this out. Should I go for the AP- which is more expensive by $159 than buying the tickets alone- and hope for the discounts on rooms, or stick with the known AAA deal and pay for dining?
