Hi! I am currently planning two vacations this year, so here is the dilemma. Let's just leave out dining for now:

Okay June trip: AKL Pool view, regular season, 3 nights - staying at the Swan after that on points:

AAA discount = $812 for room w/tax + 836.00 for 8 day hoppers

AP discount if available = $568 w/tax + cost of AP's $1831.00

Dec. trip: Poly GV, 7 nights:

AAA discount = $2213 w/tax + 836 for 8 day hoppers

AP discount if available = $1675 w/tax - no tickets necessary

I am only seeing a 700 difference, will I save that much on the dining plan? We spend out $150-$200 per day on food I'd say. I just can't figure this out. Should I go for the AP- which is more expensive by $159 than buying the tickets alone- and hope for the discounts on rooms, or stick with the known AAA deal and pay for dining? :confused3

Could you let us know how many people and whether they are adults, juniors or children? I'm having trouble figuring out the make up of your group based soley on the ticket prices you gave. Without that information, it's impossible to calculate the cost of the dining plan.
