Help me decide!

Thanks in advance--I'm a longtime lurker, but rarely post.
I am planning a surprise trip in June (I know late planning, but life has been crazy) for my husband's graduation from grad school. I am trying to decide on a resort. We are also planning on going next May, so I'm not really looking to stay at a deluxe resort this time. I'm thinking Pop, ASMv, or POFQ. We will have a car and a cooler filled with snacks/milk (we'll be driving down). We have stayed at Pop before and were fine with it. We will also have our 2 1/2 year old son with us. Which should we stay at? Is POFQ worth an extra $300? We are looking at staying 5 nights and we usually nap in the afternoon.

POFQ will have a slightly larger room, which you probably already know. But if you're trying to economize, then the $300 would probably be better spent elsewhere, yeah? POP is a fun place and certainly good enough for a nap in the middle of the day. I guess my point is, if you are wondering if POFQ is worth the extra $300, then you are probably trying to travel on a budget which isn't a bad idea with the current state of the economy.

For my money, I'd say POR. It's beautiful and has a nice restaurant and the
boat to DTD. Congrats to your DH!

I stayed at PO once & wasn't too fond of it. If you go moderate I recommend C.B or Coronado. I've never stayed at a value but I've heard great things about POP.
