We had plans to spend 3 days at Daytona then 6 days at Disney world. But I want to take a 3 days cruise so bad to see how it is, it looks wonderful and I know the kids would love it..I am going to talk to my hubby and a friend of ours who is going with us.. We could do either

The original plan of 3 nights at beach and 6 days at Disney, while I love Disney World been there done that and its time to try something new.

We could go straight to Disney (OKW) rented points stay 4 nights and do MNSSHP one night, Universal one day, hubby and friend do Horror nights and one day just shopping, swimming and downtown Disney. Then head over on Thursday to Port for a 3 day Disney cruise. It comes out in the end to about the same amount of money since we wont be needing to rent as many days at OKW and the beach. Plus I just noticed you don't have to have passports until June 09 and that would let us see how we like cruising before we put out money for passports as we never go out of the country.

What do you think??
Cruise would be October 16th for a 3 night..

I would suggest a different option...doing the 4-day cruise, rather than the 3-day. The 3-day is really more like a 2-day cruise as the first day is Embarkation day and you are off the ship by 9am on the last morning. With the 4-day cruise you get a full sea day to spend on the ship and, to me, it makes all the difference. If you really want to give cruising a chance the sea day will really help to let you know whether or not it is for you.

The dates fit with our time frame or we would try the 4 day.. But I am looking at dates and the 4 days October 12th cruise could work..hmmmmmmmmm

Myself, my DH, DS 11 & DS 7 have gone to WDW a few times in the past & we had a great time. Last year we did the Disney Cruise for the 1st time with 11 other family members. Everyone, including all the kids, liked the Cruise better. No one wants to do WDW anymore, it's all about the cruise! I would definitely try it if you can! We loved it!

I agree 100%..Take the 4 nighter..

we were in the same situation, couldnt decide what to do. we could only afford the cruise of we could get a category 12.
our original plan was to spend 4 days touring round florida then go back to WDW, but after a lot of messing around on disneycruise's website, i finally got my cat 12!!!

I would also suggest the 4 night cruise. That day at sea makes all the difference and you'll really get to enjoy the ship and all it has to offer.
