We have 2 nights in Feb. to eat at Epcot. I'm pretty decided on Le Cellier for one night, and I think I'm going with Garden Grill the other. DS & I are not "seafood" eaters (DH is), so looking at Coral Reef menu, didn't seem like a big selection. I liked the menu at Le Cellier in WS...so, I guess I was trying to decide between Coral Reef and Garden Grill. I know I posted this before, because before I was going for "atmosphere"...but, after checking out the menu, I wasn't sure there was enough selection at Coral Reef for us "land-lubbers". So, Le Cellier one night and which the other??? (I'd like to go for atmosphere, but I would like a selection to pick from to eat too!) Thanks for your help everyone..... :wave2:

I have heard Coral Reef has steak and some basics as well, I've also heard it's beautiful!
The princess storybook dining in Norway is fun for the little ones.

What characters are at GG??? It's winning in the poll....but only by a hair :scared:

Last time I was there Mickey and the Chipmunks and probably pluto.

IMO, Garden Grill is better than Coral Reef in every way- plus it's got characters too! Am I the only one who finds eating seafood while looking at an aquarium is creepy? Plus I didn't think the seafood there was that great anyway.

Gosh no. Redlobsters have fish tanks. It doesnt bother me at all.

I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat any type of fish either. It creeps me out too! I can't stand seeing lobster tanks at grocery stores and restaraunts and the same goes for the fish tanks. Atleast the fish aren't going to be killed and eaten soon that are happily swimming in the fish tank, but it still bothers me.

Garden Grill hands down. It's a nice quiet restaurant with awesome food and great characters. It is one of my favorite places at WDW.

Whoops. I meant to vote for Garden Grill, but I accidently voted for Coral Reef :confused3 (it's early). Anyway, I prefer the atmosphere of the Garden Grill to the Coral Reef anyway, but the food is better and cheaper at Garden Grill. Coral Reef is good, but it is too pricey for quality that is not quite as good as a Red Lobster (not that there is anything wrong with Red Lobster, but it is to seafood what the Olive Garden is to Italian food).

Food and atmosphere are overall better IMHO at Coral Reef, but you're really comparing apples and oranges with the two establishments in terms of menu choices and a fun character meal versus more elegant dining.

Enjoy!
