Help me choose..

I would post this in DVC resorts forum but since I am DVC member and used to vacationing like DVC I trust all your opinions more. I have decided to make a last minute Christmas trip to see Osborne lights. Of course DVC is all booked up or close too it. So I am paying out of pocket with our AP discount. Which resort would you choose? Prices all basically the same or within a few hundred dollars.

2 Adults and 2 children
WL Courtyard View Room-Cheapest option by about 300.00
VWL Studio-I like the pull down sleeper so my kids don't have to touch each other sleeping
1 Bedroom OKW-I like the space option and again they can sleep in different beds with the pull out couch and chair. I just don't like proximity.

We don't mind small rooms but have never stay at OKW and love the thought of extra space. However I love the idea of WL at Christmas??

Thoughts?

We love OKW for the space of the rooms.
WL/VWL at Christmas is lovely and no issue if that is what you choose.
At OKW you are actually closer to MGM (DHS) than at WL/VWL.

First, you are aware that VWL will be in the midst of construction with the quiet pool all ripped out and perhaps construction started on the lakeside cabins? For that reason it might push you towards the WL room or OKW. Our first DVC/OKW stay was Dec and we really enjoyed the tropical Christmas feel. It's not like WL with the large tree in the lobby but you do know it's Christmas and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there if the accommodations made the most sense. I think the transportation to DHS is also faster from OKW than WL/VWL.

Thank you for your opinions... We are leaning towards just the room at WL but can't stop thinking about the space at OKW...
