DH, DD, DMIL, DFIL and I will be heading to WDW for 9 days in Feb. After reading these fabulous boards for a few weeks now, :thumbsup2 I have an idea of where I want to eat during that time.

We are planning to do a quick breakfast from the food court at ASMu each morning, and then try to get a late seating for breakfast (around 10/11) and then a late lunch/early dinner (around 4/5).

So, here is where I know I want to go so far:
WCC - dinner
Donald's Breakfastasoraus - for breakfast
Hollywood & Vine - character breakfast
50's Prime Time - lunch/dinner
HDDR - dinner
Garden Grill - lunch/dinner

I also would like to go to the following, but am not sure if they would be better for breakfast, lunch or dinner, so I am looking for feedback:
CRT
Askerhaus Royal Banquet Hall
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare

Finally, I have heard good things about the following and am wondering if I should substitute in any of these for any of the ones listed above:
'Ohanas
Boma
Spoodles
Biergarten
Kona Cafe

Finally - am I missing something that should not be missed??

Thanks,
Terri

Well, I really enjoy Boma and Jiko...

Late lunch won't be served at full service at 4:00 pm. That is usually the beginning of the dinner menu.

You are going to have two breakfasts? I'm a little confused... (nothing unusual there)!

I would definitely go to Boma!! My preference would be to substitute Boma for WCC. I've done most of your character meals for both breakfast and lunch. Here's my pick: I preferred CRT lunch over breakfast...better meal IMO. I preferred Crystal Palace breakfast. Definitely lunch at Norway...loved their cold buffet...but as far as characters go (and this is never guaranteed) Ariel usually greets for lunch and Snow White is usually only there for breakfast (a CM who works there told me this.) 1900 Park Fare is more of a character preference...Alice/Mad Hatter crew for breakfast or Cinderella/Prince Charming for dinner. I don't think you can go wrong at Chef Mickey's anytime.

Hope this helps! :)

Don't worry, I usually confuse myself too! :rotfl:

Someone had posted that they enjoyed character breakfasts when they went to a late seating and I thought that sounded good for us. With DMIL and DFIL along, I question how quickly we can get out to the parks, although I do still want to go as early as possible.

So, I was thinking that we couldn't miss a late character breakfast, and might even have some more interaction that way. However, we will still need to eat in the AM, especially DD. So yes, we will have two breakfasts instead of breakfast and lunch. My DD loves breakfast foods, so I think that will work out well for her.

Thanks for the reply!

Yes it does - thanks! :wave2: Especially the which characters will be there when - I am trying to spread it out to see more, so will probably do 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, as will do CRT and see Cinderella there.

What we did and who we met

Cinderellas Gala Feast-1900 Park Fare--Dinner
Suzy,Perla,Cinderella,Prince Charming and Fairy Godmother in the hall
Food was a bit much for us in that it was adult food-None of the 7 in my party liked the food-too spicy, not enough variety for the price

Princess Storybook Dining-Akershus-Norway--Breakfast
Belle in hallway,Jasmine,Mulan,Snow White,Aurora and Ariel in the hall as we were leaving
Food was normal breakfast,we all liked the cheesy potatoes

This time around we are looking at Chef Mickeys or Supercalifragilistic breakfast at 1900 Park Fare--Not sure which though food is supposed to be better at Chef Mickeys, but the kids can meet Alice and the Mad Hatter and MP but not sure if that would be worth it if they could see them somewhere else?

As for the HDDR-The food was good, nothing great but the show wasn't all I thought it was going to be,not worth 2 TS credits in my opinion
