Hi,
My friend and I are going to DLP from Friday 6th to Monday 9th March, on a no kids trip.
The eurostar tickets are booked and in hand, and the hotel is hopefully being booked on Monday with DVC points. This is a budget trip.
We want to stay at the Hotel New York, which I know nothing about, as on all my past trips we stayed at the Cheyenne, the Santa Fe and the Davy Crockett Ranch, you know the kid friendly ones.
What is the HNY like?
My friend needs coffee to function in the morning,
do the HNY rooms have coffee supplies and a kettle, or do we need to make other arrangements?
What are the breakfasts like, is it a cold buffet?
What time is breakfast served, can we go for EMH and then have breakfast?
How far from the parks is the hotel? Is it a short walk or do we need to take the shuttle bus?
We are going on what I think will be a busy weekend, it is the last 2 days of the 15th celebration and also the weekend of the Welsh festival, but that is when she insisted on going, then she told me she doesn't do mornings on holiday!
How busy will these things make the park? Does the Welsh festival draw big crowds and effect park touring, or is it more in the village?
I am seriously starting to wonder about going at all.
I haven't been for 4 years and she hasn't been for about 10
Am I mad?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
