HELP! LBV BestWestern..need opinions!

Hey Everyone! We won a trip to Disney and planning is a nightmare! The travel agent that the radio station uses told us we could stay an extra night with no charge at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista and that it IS on Walt Disney World Property. Has anyone stayed there? Can you give me advice? Would you stay there or Pop Century? THANK YOU! I need help with this ASAP as the travel agent and I are trying to plan. We are first time Disney World travelers! THANKS!

Don't know if this will help you, but we actually had reservations at LBV (if this is the one I'm think of we stayed there about 14 years ago when it was the Buena Vista Palace -- and it was absolutely beautiful!) for 7/22-8/2 and ended up changing to the PoP Century. We changed to POP simply because it is new and it is a Disney Resort using Disney transportation.

the buena vista palace is not the wyndham palace, but the service is so bad we call it the wyndham dungeon.

Havent stayed at the best western, but having stayed with disney and "on property" at the many starred dungeon-oops i mean palace, I'd say go for the pop century. stay with disney they just know how to take care of you. the extra night will run you $100 at most. And if thats what you do, its worth every penny.
