I think I would of told the manager I am going to hang out with you all day, since I have nothing else to do until you resolve this issue...if that didn't get them to step up to the plate and get this resolve I would take my issue up with the next level of management.

Me too, seriously. Having to sit around the resort all day when you could be in a park = EPIC fail.

How can you have your room key and not your park tickets.

If there is nothing to be done, eat at the parks or at other resorts and enjoy your time away from the resort.

They just said they would move us to a deluxe villa at saratoga springs. I hope this really happens since I just had soda poured down on me from the big letters at the All Star where the kids were sitting.

This is insanity! There is no acceptable reason why you should not have your tickets in your hand and be gone enjoying your day while they figure out where to relocate you! I would not accept this madness. Methinks it's time you moved over the resort mgr's head.

We just got back from our Disney trip. We were booked at the All Star Movies. We hated it. We ended up transferring over to Coronado Springs. We got absolutely no help from the front desk at Movies. My Husband & I went over to Coronado & talked to their front desk. They arranged the move for us. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. Those cheerleaders were totally abnoxious. We waited 2 hours for a bus to epcot the one day. That was the end of it. The All Star resort & staff cannot efficently handle those teenage crowds.

The price difference was $80.00/night. Totally worth it if you ask me.

My experiences a few weeks ago were that the moderates were FAR worse than the value.

I had stayed at POP Century for several days before switching to Coranado. Coranado was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. Loud, obnoxious partiers everywhere. Carribean Beach was nice enough but the walls were paper thin. I have also stayed at Port Orleans AND Riverside and found them both to be far too large and rather dark. Yup. Stayed at all of the mods and disliked them all.

I generally stay deluxe or at Swan/Dolphin when I go to WDW. (My fiance picked POP out of every resort onsite so that’s why we went there). But I’d choose Pop over a moderate any day of the week. Yes the walls are thin. Yes, you will hear the room next door and toilets flushing. But at least you’re only paying like $80 a night for it there.

I felt that way as well (except I felt like they cared more about convention people) at first also. However, I was compensated very well for my troubles so clearly, they DO care. I just think they have a hard time drawing lines.

We had a similar weekend last month in washington dc at a embassy suites with hockey kids. I complained so many times I lost count. Finally on monday the manager called us at home and refunded us one of our two nights.

Were you planning to go to a park today? If so, I would DEMAND (in a nice voice, of course) some fastpasses for your crew to use tomorrow so you can fit in everything you MISSED out on today! FP cost the management NOTHING, and they always have some on hand for occasions such as this.

I hope they actually move you to where they are telling you they will. We were told repeatedly we were being moved to AKL and then got dumped at CBR which was just as bad as Coranado.

I am so glad they are moving you, but I still think you need some compensation for not haveing your park tickets all day, they owe you a day of tickets.

If you have little kids with you Saratoga Springs is not quite as fun looking but it is MUCH nicer.
Hopefully that is what you get. That would be a great trade up.
