I nearly peed my pants and laughed so loud at work they thought I was crazy! (ok they know I'm crazy but that's another story).

I wish I knew how to make the little animated guy that kicks and laughs...you all are too funny...

and might I suggest if you ever get the rude CM again tell her "Fine, I will keep my reservation for 4 and I need another for a party of 1....it will be "that baby"...we will just seat him by himself!!

Just show up for your reservations and when they ask you how many in the party smile and say 4 plus an infant, but he doesn't like high chairs so he will sit with us. (BTW.... I really would not go into the thing about you and the pooch!!!)

They won't complain at all when you appear with two kids and an infant. Imagine what those hosts and hostesses must go through on a regular day and your situation will be like a cool glass of iced tea to them....smooth sailing. Have a great vacation

OMG - I have never heard that before. Screwed the Pooch???? I lived in FL for 27 years and am now in NC. THats a new one, I will try it out tomorrow at work.

ABout the ressies - I too will be facing that problem at one dinner, hope just showing works for me too.

To the OP, I'm so sorry that CM was such a cow! Somebody needs a whole fistful of pixie dust, applied with force. I wouldn't worry one smidge about the bringing That Baby. (I'm reminded of 'THAT DOG' in Lady and the Tramp! ) I hope you have a terrific time!

i'm sure you'll be fine. i can't see them not honouring your reservations when you show up with an "extra" infant. what kind of customer service would that be?

the little animated guy that kick's and laughs is just to the right of the little reply box that i'm typing in right now. so when you reply you just click on the apprpriate smile to the right, it adds some text to your post with : on either side to denote the particular smile and when you 'submit reply' it shows up in your post.

Good, I was beginning to feel a bit embarrased that nobody else uses this term LOL ...I never really looked at the saying in writing just always said it humorously...hmmmm it would give a whole new meaning to being a "southern term" if I didn't know better myself..ya know since we southerners eat dirt and marry our siblings and walk around barefooted all the time LOL!!!!!

All kidding aside, thanks for the feedback! I feel great about showing up with my sweet baby boy in tow. I guess the very worst that can happen is he and I can go get a CS meal while DH takes the other kiddies to a nice TS.
