Help! I'm making very poor eating choices!

The scale hasn't moved in 3 weeks! I have cut my caffiene and sodas alltogether but my eating choices have been horrible. What can I do to motivate myself to do much better there? I've got 4 months to loose about 20 pounds!

First stop putting the pressure of "you must lose 20lbs in 4 months" Next open up your cabinets and fridge - make sure you have healthy choices for your eating plan readily available to you and get rid or put out of easy reach foods that are not good for you. Drink your water everday and try to exercise everday. And remeber if you eat better and exercise and drink your water you will lose weight! Even if iyou lose 15lbs of the 20 you will still feel so much better! But I bet that once you start making better food choices those pesky pounds will just melt off!

I would agree with the other poster. Stop pressuring yourself to lose a set amount of points in a given time. when we make the decsion to lose weight we expect it to happen immediately and get frustrated and annoyed when it doesn't. Remember the pounds never went on overnight, so it is unrealistic to expect that they will come off overnight too.

Personally it is really important that I have lots of low calorie options to chose from at home. That way if I come in and I am really hungry I am not tempted to blow the diet and have a high calorie conveneicne food.

Almost everything that it manufactured has a low calorie alternative. Once you get started you will soon see the results and that will keep youmotivated even on the days when you can feel your resolve slipped.
